PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk, a magneto-optical disk, a disk device therefor and a data recording method, with which recording and reproducing characteristics and recording durability can be improved even when a data access speed is accelerated by increasing a channel clock frequency without depending on a linear velocity. SOLUTION: In a disk device 1 for recording data on an optical disk 3 while using a phase change recording system, this device is provided with erasing means 7, 9, 1, 13 and 15 for erasing the data on the optical disk 3 and recording means 7, 9, 1, 13 and 15 for recording the other data on the optical disk after the data are erased. |
