PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuse device capable of reducing a manufacturing cost, and designing various fusing properties. SOLUTION: Respective end of a fuse wire 42 are stretched between bent parts 43a, 43b of both top end parts of recesses 44 of a connection piece 43. The length of effective fusing part of the fuse wire 42 is made to become a prescribed length, and dispersion of electric property becomes smaller. It is possible to design a fuse 41 with various fusing property by selecting the shape, the material, and the length L of the slit of the connection piece 43. The manufacturing process becomes simple and the process is enabled to automate. The fuse wire 42 is connected to a fixed terminal 24 and a movable terminal 32 by connecting the bent part 43a, 43b to the fixed terminal 24 and the movable terminal 32. It becomes possible to manufacture the fuse wire 42 without generating dispersion of electric property. A setting of process condition for each rated current becomes unnecessary, and the manufacturing cost is reduced.
