MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM AND MAGNETIC RECORDING DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording medium excellent in thermal stability of magnetic recording even when the magnetic recording medium has a magnetic recording layer of thinner thickness and finer magnetic particles in order to attain high recording density and to provide a magnetic recording device using this magnetic recording medium. SOLUTION: The magnetic recording medium is constituted by forming at least a magnetic recording layer 1 on a substrate and has at least a set of a paramagnetic layer 2 and a ferromagnetic layer 3 between the substrate 4 and the magnetic recording layer and one of paramagnetic layers is in contact with the magnetic recording layer. Further the magnetic recording device using this magnetic recording medium is provided.
