SAND SPREADER FOR SOFT-GROUND BY PNEUMATIC MECHANISM

PURPOSE: A sand spreader for a soft ground is provided to form a sand layer for reinforcing the ground by applying compressed air to spray sand on the ground without alternative reinforcement such as high tensile matt. CONSTITUTION: The spreader comprises a blower(4) connected to a driving motor(3) by a belt(5) and having an inhalation silencer(7) at a suction tube(4a) of the blower(4) and a safety surface(8a) and an exhaustion silencer(8) at an exhaustion tube of the blower formed with a flexible joint(4b). The exhaustion silencer(8) has a check valve(9) and a stop valve(10) interposed at front end of the silencer(8). The sand spreader has a sand conveyer pipe(12) integrated with a blowing pipe(11) at front end of the blowing pipe. A sand supplying hopper(14) having a rotary valve(13) inside an outlet(14a) of the sand conveyer pipe(12) is applied to upper side of the pipe(12). In addition, the spreader has a sand spreading pipe(15) integrated to the conveyer pipe(12).
