PURPOSE: An agitator with a malfunction self diagnosis and control system is provided to discover and solve interior defects such as the breakdown of an impeller, a blade, and a rotating shaft in its early stages. CONSTITUTION: In the agitator(20) composed of a driving motor(7), a speed reducer(8), a driving device support(9) integrally assembled to an upper structure(30), an impeller shaft(10), an impeller hub(12), and an impeller blade(13), a sensor(16) for measuring the number of rotations of an inner rotating shaft is attached to the reducer, a temperature sensor(14) is attached to the driving motor and an object to be agitated to detect the heat of a motor(7) and the viscosity of the object, a water level sensor(15) is mounted to the upper structure, a vibration sensor(17) is installed near an impeller to detect the vibration of the reducer during the rotation of the impeller, and a control board(1) having a self diagnosis and control device is provided to generate alarm and stop the driving of the agitator after comparing detected signals with information of a normal operating state.
