PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device/method for displaying video and a storage medium capable of displaying an easy-to-see user interface and a three-dimensional(3D) video by displaying only a user interface on a plane video display part and displaying only the 3D video on a 3D video display part. SOLUTION: The CPU 201 of a PC 101 constituting the video display device carries out display control for displaying only the user interface on the plane video display part (2D display 102) and for displaying only the 3D video on the 3D video display part (direct view type 3D display 103) on the basis of a 3D video display program.
