PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of remarkable stability lowering caused by increase of a bus-bar phase angle which occurs, if flow control by a power flow controller is performed at high speed, when a line is opened after a fault and the bus-bar phase angle increases. SOLUTION: This power flow controller is provided with a manipulated variable computing means 1 which computes and outputs a manipulated variable necessary for adjusting the power flow of a power system to a command power flow value, a system information inputting means 2 for taking system information in, a phase angle change computing means 3 which computes and outputs a change of the bus-bar phase angle of the power system on the basis of this system information, a manipulated variable changing speed determining means 4 which determines a manipulated variable changing speed for the manipulated variable in accordance with the bus-bar phase angle change and outputs a signal of the manipulated variable changing speed, and a manipulated variable outputting means 5 which controls the manipulated variable outputted from the computing means 1 by the signal of the manipulated variable changing speed and outputs it as a manipulated variable to the body 20 of the power flow controller. |
