PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a remote control system, having a charging unit therein, enabling abrupt changing and eliminating replacing of battery. SOLUTION: The remote control system comprises electronic equipment 1, and a remote controller 2 for noncontactly controlling the equipment 1 via infrared rays or electromagnetic waves or the like of a radio-frequency band. In this system, the controller 2 contains a charging unit 11 made of a secondary cell, and furthermore has a generating element 10 in the controller 2 and a charger 5 in the equipment 1.
