PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easy to achieve the weight reduction and thinning of a portable communication device and to reduce the price by the curtailment of the number of parts, by making the most of a wiring board stored in the casing of a portable communication device such as a portable telephone or the like, as the frame of an electric sound converter such as a speaker or the like. SOLUTION: In a portable communication device, a speaker 20 where a voice coil 26 with a diaphragm 21 is inserted in the gap G within a magnetic circuit is stored in the casing. A lead wire 27 drawn out of the voice coil 26 is connected directly to the electrodes 13 and 14 of the wiring board 10. The periphery of the diaphragm 21 is fixed to the wiring board 10. The magnetic circuit is made of a magnet 24, a pole piece 25, and a yoke 22. The yoke 22 is attached to the wiring board 10.
