PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor which suppresses contraction occurred at welding, prevents the non-uniformity of a gap dimension by welding conditions, can appropriately keep the gap dimension, improves mechanical strength against shocks and can prevent the deviation of the gap dimension due to shocks, such as dropping. SOLUTION: The outer legs 2a or 2a' of U-shaped cores 2 and 2' are inserted into the hollow part 1a of a coil. A magnetic gap is formed in the confronted face of the outer legs 2a and 2a'. The other outer legs 2b and 2b' of the U-shaped cores 2 or 2' are arranged on the upper side of the coil 1, they are counter posed to each other and the upper part is welded. A fitting tool 3 is fitted to the bases of the U-shaped cores 2 and 2'. The outer lower parts of the U-shaped cores 2 and 2' and the core installation part 3d of the fitting tool 3 are welded. At the time of welding, a welding part at an upper part prevents the upper parts of the U-shaped cores 2 and 2' from extending. |
