PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital information providing device allowing a user to go shopping, to a meal or the like using the waiting time needed to write the digital information on a recording medium when providing (mainly selling) the user (such as a customer) with selected digital information (namely, digital contents) such as music data. SOLUTION: In this digital information providing device (a kiosk terminal 10), the selection of the music data is received by a touch panel display 15, a process for storing reception information capable of specifying a reception is performed by a control part 12 after receiving the selection, expected completion of writing of the music data is notified by the touch panel display 15, the music data is written on the recording medium 7 by a recording medium writer 17, and after receiving the reception information from a card reader 13, the recording medium 7 written with the music data is provided. |
