PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy and prompt reception of a bill of lading. SOLUTION: A consigner (customer) accesses a WWW server 4 via a network 3, such as the Internet by a terminal 1, browses the bills of lading to be provided by a Web page and pays a fare for a marine cargo for a desired bill of lading. A settlement processing is performed by an accounting server 5. When the consignor (customer) selects the bill of lading made which can be issued through payment of the fare of marine cargo, the WWW server 4 reads relevant bill of lading data from a bill of lading database 6 and transmits it to the terminal 1 as printing data in a prescribed format via the network 3. When the printing data are received, they are printed on prescribed printing paper or white paper set in the printer 2 as formal bill of lading in the terminal 1. |
