PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set an optimal recording method in the case of transmitting image data received from an application program (AP) to a recorder and recording them on a recording medium by automatically discriminating the kind of these image data. SOLUTION: A printer driver 1101A receives image data to be transmitted to the recorder from the AP, analyzes the received image data, discriminates the kind of these image data, automatically sets the optimal recording method for printing these image data on the basis of the discriminated kind of the image data and transmits the image data to the recorder after adding the automatically set recording method thereto. |
