PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically start re-printing from a page which has not been rightly printed, in the printers of all types without necessity for an operator to execute a command again after the supply of paper when a paper jamming or the like occurs and printing can not be rightly performed in printing in the printer. SOLUTION: When printing is requested to a printer 5 and a failure of printing caused by a paper jamming or the like is detected, a data transfer function part 3 writes the number of printed pages in a number of pages storage file 4 and finishes processing. When it is detected that the data transfer function part 3 finishes processing in the middle of printing, a printing executing function part 2 reads the number of printed pages from the number of pages storage file 4 and starts a data transfer function part 8. The data transfer function part 8 acquires the number of printed pages from the printing executing function part 2, issues a re-printing request to the printer 5 and starts re-printing from the page which has not been rightly printed. |
