AUTOMATIC IDENTIFICATION OF TRAINING NEEDS OF MEDICAL STAFF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for identifying the needs of training regarding the biomedical equipment in a medical facility. SOLUTION: Data (114) for indicating the operation of the biomedical equipment (C1 and C2) of the medical facility (12) are gathered and stored in a centralized database (36). Information is gathered manually (88) or automatically by connection with the equipment in the service period of the equipment. The data (114) are the ones for attaching reference items to an equipment type, a manufacturer, a department, a place and the other equipment relating information. On the basis of the gathered and stored information, parameters for indicating the latent training needs are analyzed (184, 186 and 188) and reported (190). An error and a fault, etc., can be included in the parameters. Thus, a detailed report (138) sent to a medical organization provides the basis for planning the training for the purpose of improving the performance and utilization degree of the equipment.
