PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sodium storage cartridge for a sodium-sulfur battery capable of easily connecting a base cover to a tubular barrel section forming the cartridge, having a good assembling property, hardly generating a gap and corrosion or the like at a connection section, and having long-term reliability. SOLUTION: In this sodium storage cartridge for the sodium-sulfur battery, a welded section 14 is formed so that part of the base cover 13 is overlapped with part of the tubular barrel section 12 forming the cartridge, and the welded section 14 is connected by welding.
