PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed battery capable of providing high output and improving volume efficiency. SOLUTION: This seal battery 10 comprises a winding type power generating element 11, a negative electrode collecting plate 14 and a positive current collecting plate 15 connected to a negative electrode 12 and a positive electrode 13 of the power generating element 11, respectively, and a negative electrode terminal 16 and a positive electrode terminal 17 connected to the negative current collecting plate 14 and the positive current collecting plate 15. The negative electrode terminal 16 and the positive electrode terminal 17 extend in the crossing direction the axial line of the power generating element 11. |
