PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information equipment having a communicating function, capable of preventing radio wave transmitting function, while enabling an information processing function of the portable information equipment such as a portable telephone or the like, and to provide its control system or the like. SOLUTION: A switch 22a, for instructing operation or non-operation of a radio wave transmitting function of a radio transmitter-receiver 21, is provided in the portable information equipment 20 with the communicating function. The equipment 20 receives 25 a radio transmission inhibiting signal from an inhibiting signal transmitter 31 provided in a public facility 30 or the like, decides 26, and automatically controls the operation or the non-operation of the radio transmitting function of the transmitter- receiver 21. Thus, even when the owner of the information equipment has forgotten to turn off the transmitting function, the function is will be turned off automatically. Accordingly, without annoying people in the public facility or the like; one can conduct required processes, without accompanying transmission of radio waves by the information equipment.
