A handle is made with a core of a fibrous material with fibres aligned with its axis, coated in the zone in contact with the tool head with a layer of a polymer material and in the zone of its free end with a layer of natural rubber with optional additives such as lightweight calcium carbonate and an anti-aging component. A handle is made with a core (1) of a fibrous material with fibres aligned with its axis, coated in the zone (A) in contact with the tool head with a layer (2) of a polymer material and in the zone (B) of its free end with a layer (3) of natural rubber with optional additives such as lightweight calcium carbonate and an anti-aging component, forming a cover for the hand grip made from sheet material using heat and pressure. An Independent claim is also included for a process for making the handle comprising: (1) forming the handle core; (2) coating the core with a polymeric material in the zone (A) in contact with the tool head; and (3) coating the core with natural rubber in the zone (B) of its free end.
