PURPOSE: A core material of a drain board for accelerating consolidated drainage of the soft ground is provided to improve drainage efficiency of a drain board by keeping a space part formed in a core materials to the original state without subsiding by earth pressure added on both sides of a drain board. CONSTITUTION: The core material(3) of a drain board for accelerating consolidated drainage of the soft ground installed to the soft ground vertically to discharge moisture in the soft ground comprises an upper plate(4) provided with a projection(4a) and a through hole(4b), a lower plate(5) provided with a projection(5a) and a hole(5b), and many partition walls(6) forming a space part(7) between the upper plate(4) and the lower plate(5).
