PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discussion system, with which participants at different places can perform a discussion concerning one theme while utilizing a network. SOLUTION: A WWW server 10 provided with the electronic bulletin board of a discussion room and terminals 20 to be used by users to take part in the discussion are connected to a network 30 such as Internet. The server 20 has a database 40 for storing category information and speech information. One of participants presents the category of the discussion with that category as a theme, respective users access the home page of the discussion room from their own terminals, prepare their own speeches or speaking to the other users and publish them on the electronic bulletin board so that the discussion can be performed. |
