<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field emission electron device capable of lowering the driving voltage between a cold cathode and a control electrode, and stably emit electron from the cold cathode. SOLUTION: The field emission electron device comprises the first cold cathode 14 and the second cold cathode 17 from which, electron is emitted by dint of electric field, an anode 19 arranged opposite to the first cold cathode and the second cold cathode to which, the electron emitted from the first and the second cold cathode travels, and a control electrode 15 arranged between the first cold cathode and the anode, controlling the electron emission of the first cold cathode. The first cold cathode emits electron according to the electric field corresponding to the potential difference between the first cold cathode and the anode, and the electric field corresponding to the potential difference between the cold cathode and the control electrode. In order to prescribe the potential difference between the first cathode and the anode prior to the electron emission of the first cold cathode, the second cold electrode emits electron according to the electric field corresponding to the potential difference between the second cold cathode and the anode.</p> |
