PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that A3-size recording paper needs to be cut to A4-sized paper that is half the size of the A3-size for performing colorimetry by dividing into two sample images since a colorimeter in an A3 size is expensive although a colorimeter that is capable of reading A3-size paper may be used to read an A3-size sample image. SOLUTION: Approximately half color patches shown in Fig. (A) are printed on A3-size recording paper while they face upward, and the remaining color patches shown in Fig. (B) are printed on it while they face upward. In this manner, after a color patch at the (A) size has been subjected to colorimetry, the sample images are inverted and are set to the colorimeter, and then the color patch at the (B) side can be subjected to colorimetry. |
