<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing device for a tape-like recording medium, by which damage to be given to the tape-like recording medium due to the contact between the running-stopped tape-like recording medium and a rotating rotary drum can be reduced. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a tension arm driving part 51 by which a tension arm 41 is moved to a prescribed slackness position to generate slackness in a magnetic tape 10 and is restricted/released at the slackness position. In the device, rotary positions of a capstan 6 and a feeding reel 2 are restricted, and then the tension arm 41 is moved to the slackened position.</p> |
