PURPOSE: A golf club head is provided to help a golfer to shot a ball in more stable posture by improving a side spin phenomenon and a pushing phenomenon of the head, and to maximize the transmission of power. CONSTITUTION: The golf club head(2) is provided with improved face grooves(1) formed in due consideration of a length of a shaft(4) and a lie angle of a golf ball. More particularly, the shape and the angle of the face grooves of the golf club are varied consistently in proportion to the shaft length and the lie angle. When the shape of the face groove is deformed to widen the compression area with the golf ball, the golf club is able to generate strong spin and to maximize the transmission of power. Also, when the angle of the face groove is perpendicular to the way of the golf ball, it is possible to improve a side spin phenomenon, a pushing phenomenon, and so on.
