PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hearing aid which can be adjusted by a user, to provide a portable information terminal which can be used to adjust the hearing aid, and to provide a radio communication system which can adjust the hearing aid by the portable information terminal. SOLUTION: The radio communication system 100 is provided with a portable telephone 10 as the portable information terminal and hearing aids 30, 40 which perform a radio communication with the portable telephone 10. The portable telephone 10 generates an adjusting signal to adjust output sounds of the hearing aids 30, 40, and it transmits the adjusting signal to the hearing aids 30, 40. The hearing aids 30, 40 receive the adjusting signal from the portable telephone 10, and the output sounds of the hearing aids 30, 40 are adjusted on the basis of the received adjusting signal. The hearing aid 30 is for the left ear, and the hearing aid 40 is for the right ear.
