PURPOSE: A radio control automatic humidifier and method for performing radio control automatic humidifying operation is provided to achieve an improved user convenience by automatically maintaining the humidity level desired by the user at the position desired by the user. CONSTITUTION: A radio control automatic humidifier comprises a radio humidity sensing unit(10) and a humidifier body module(20). The radio humidity sensing unit includes a radio transmitter part(106) for converting the value measured by a humidity sensor(102) into a radio signal, and transmitting the radio signal to the humidifier; a radio receiver part(104) for receiving the radio signal transmitted from the humidifier; and a controller(100) for permitting the humidity sensor to measure the current humidity of air, comparing the measured humidity with a preset humidity range, and controlling the radio transmitter and receiver parts so as to transmit radio signals for controlling operation of the humidifier. The humidifier body module includes a radio receiver part(210) for receiving radio signals from the radio humidity sensing unit, and a controller(200) for driving a humidifier drive part(202) in accordance with the received radio signal.
