PURPOSE: A flush toilet is provided to economize on water and to give a clean toilet bowl. CONSTITUTION: As for the flush toilet, if a user sits on a toilet seat(2) and pushes a water-supply lever(5), a water gate(14) of a distribution tank(13) is opened to supply water to a toilet bowl(1) through a water-supply pipe(4). If a user lifts up a gate lever(6) after stools, a gate shaft(8) of the toilet bowl(1) and a lower gate shaft(9) of a knot(10) are rotated to open a gate of the toilet bowl(1) and to close up a gate of a secondary toilet bowl(7), so that a jet(3) washes up the toilet bowl(1) and unloosing the gate lever(6) closes up the gate shaft(8) and opens the gate of the secondary toilet bowl to save water.
