The tray (1) is thermoformed from an inert plastic that is not subject to chemical migration during normal microwave oven use, and is packed with potatoes of a variety that will cook in about six minutes, e.g. Amandine or Cherie about 32 - 38 mm in size. The potatoes are treated chemically by thermo-nebulisation to prevent them germinating, and after packing are covered by a welded film layer. |
