The waste shredder (1), comprising a hopper (2) with a piston-operated pusher (20) and two parallel contrarotating shafts (4) with shredding blades (4A), has a cleaner (5) in the form of a driven rotary shaft with teeth (5A), turning at a different speed to the shredder shafts. The teeth pass between the shredding blades on one of the shafts, removing any waste wedged between them and cutting any material that has wound round the shaft. |
