SOLUTION: An error code acquiring part 31 acquires an error code showing the fault situation of a control object device 11, and a maintenance information presenting part 32 presents maintenance information acquired by transmitting the error code to a maintenance information server 42. In such a case, a maintenance information providing part 43 acquires the maintenance information from a maintenance information database on the basis of the error code transmitted from the part 32 and transmits the maintenance information to the part 32. 1st and 2nd video conference processing parts 34 and 51 display the monitored image of the device 11 around the time when a fault takes place in a technical center. In this remote maintenance system 1, a maintenance staff at the job site can obtain accurate maintenance information from the server 42 or a support staff of the technical center and perform restoration work.
