PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give the feeling of a transmitter of an electronic mail to its receiver. SOLUTION: A download part 11 downloads the mail sentences received from a mail server 100 and supplies the received mail sentences to an analysis part 12. The part 12 decomposes the mail sentences into the statements corresponding to the feeling expression symbol strings, supplies these symbol strings to a voice parameter selection part 13 and also supplies each decomposed statement (mail text) to a voice synthesizing part 14. The selection part 13 retrieves the voice synthesizing parameters corresponding to the feeling expression symbol strings from a symbol string-voice synthesizing parameter correspondence table 131 and supplies these voice synthesizing parameters to the synthesizing part 14. The part 14 reads aloud every statement inputted from the analyzing part 12 in voices accordant with every voice synthesizing parameter that is inputted from the selection part 13.
