<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display controller capable of moving a displayed picture smoothly. SOLUTION: Based on positional information inputted from an input device 3, a prediction control part 41 moves a display area. When the moved display area is within a block picture, the part 41 outputs information on a block picture which is supposed to be displayed next among partial pictures constituting the block picture to a basic part 42. The part 42 reads data on a partial picture corresponding to the inputted block picture from a secondary accumulation memory 1 and store it in a first accumulation memory 2. When the display area is outside of the area of the block picture, the part 41 selects one of the block picture stored in the memory 2 and outputs information on the block picture to a processing part 43. The part 43 reads partial picture data corresponding to the display area from the selected block picture to output it to a display part 5, which displays the inputted picture data on a display screen.</p> |
