<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new substrate for a photoelectric conversion device that has an uneven surface for effectively improving optical confinement effect in a photoelectric conversion layer. SOLUTION: Foundation films 2 and 3 and a conductive film 4 are formed in this order on a glass substrate 1, a chloride fine particle 5 is mixed into the foundation film or onto the interface between the foundation and conductive films, and a projection 9 is formed at the upper section of the chloride fine particles on the surface of the conductive film. As another example, a silicon oxide fine particle are made to adhere to the foundation film, a crystalline conductive film is formed with the fine particles as a crystal growth nucleus, and a dome-type projection is formed at the upper section of the fine particles.</p> |
