PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively cool an assembling body having loaded a regulator and combined a heat sink. SOLUTION: This alternator for vehicle comprises the assembling body 61 having loaded the regulator and combined the heat sink in which an insulation sheet 65 assuring excellent adiabatic property is held between a positive side heat sink 18P and a negative side heat sink 18M and the regulator is mounted to the negative side heat sink 18M, a connector insulation substrate 63 fixed to a rear bracket 35 to reject the heat radiated and transferred from the side of the rear bracket 35, a collar 62 formed to the connector insulation substrate 63, and a rear cover 64 which is provided with a plurality of air introducing holes 74 to respectively introduce the cooled air to the negative side heat sink 18M to which the regulator 20 is mounted and the positive side heat sink 18P.
