PURPOSE: An Internet connection method and apparatus for a mobile communication terminal is provided to quickly perform an Internet connection by inputting an Internet address of a desired web site, driving a web browser, and simultaneously and directly connecting to the desired web site. CONSTITUTION: An IP address information database(414) stores IP addresses to a plurality of web sites. A DNS(Domain Name Server)(412) receives the first web site connection request signal to a plurality of web sites through the first communication network in a standby window state of a mobile communication terminal(400). The DNS server(412) retrieves the IP address information database(414), judges an IP address corresponding to the first web site connection request signal, and transmits the judged IP address to the mobile communication terminal(400) through the first communication network. The DNS(412) receives the second web site connection request signal according to the IP address from the mobile communication terminal(400) through the first communication network, and selectively connects a plurality of web sites corresponding to the second web site connection request signal to the mobile communication terminal(400). The mobile communication terminal(400) includes a wireless web browser for being operated by Internet address information to a plurality of web sites and a wireless web browser driving signal, transmitting the first web site connection request signal to the DNS(412) through the first communication network, and outputting various information received from the connected web site through the second communication network on a window of the mobile communication terminal(400). |
