SOLUTION: In a translation server 2a, a text information transmitting means 12a acquires text information from a Japanese client 3a connected through the Internet 1, a dividing/connecting means 14 divides the text information into prescribed language units, a retrieving means 15a acquires corresponding code information by referring to a Japanese database 11a, and a code information transmitting means 13a transmits the code information to a translation server 2b. In the translation server 2b, a retrieving means 15b collates the acquired code information with an English database 11b and acquires pieces of corresponding text information, a dividing/connecting means 14b connects the pieces of the text information, and a text information transmitting means 12b transmits the text information to an English client 3b connected through the Internet 1. |
