PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a software managing system capable of reducing labor of a vender in distributing software and the cost required for distribution. SOLUTION: By an access request from a software managing server 1, a software database 4 transfers stored software to the software managing server 1 and while referring to the class information, which is the additional information of the software transferred from the software database 4, of equipment capable of utilizing the software, the software managing server 1 retrieves the address of the equipment capable of using the software out of network equipment 3 on a registered network. Then, the software is read out of a software storage part 8 storing the software of a transfer target and the read software is transmitted to the network equipment 3 of the retrieved address. Thus, the burden on the vender required for distributing the generated software can be reduced. |
