PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a cellular remote communication system in which one base station communicates with at least one mobile station, at least two channels are included in transmission and the power level of transmission is increased or decreased in response to request from a mobile station. SOLUTION: One base station communicates with at least one mobile station and transmission power level is increased or decreased by the request from a mobile station. At least two channels DPDCH and DPCCH for data and control are included in transmission. One channel DPDCH is turned off when the transmission power level reaches a first maximum value DPDCH-MAX. |
