PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved nonlinear distortion compensation power amplifier adopting the pre-distorter system, so as not to lose nonlinear distortion cancellation function due to gain fluctuations of the power amplifier. SOLUTION: The nonlinear distortion compensation power amplifier is provided with a gain adjustment circuit 4, so as to control gain adjustment in a way such that the gain of the entire circuit, including a power amplifier 5, is always kept at a constant value, and a control circuit 8 can optimally decide a pattern of a distortion quantity corresponding, to an instantaneous value of an input signal given to a distortion signal generating circuit 3, so that the distortion signal generating circuit 3 can generate a distortion signal in a way of minimizing power of an undesired out-band signal component in an output signal of the power amplifier 5 in that state.
