PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive which is suitably made small-sized and thin, to provide a drawing-in mechanism which can prevent misinsertion, and to provide a disk device having a changer function which is small-sized and composed of a very small number of components. SOLUTION: A disk cartridge 100 is provided with a misinsertion protection arm 42 which has an engagement part and a cam part for releasing the engagement part side by side, an insertion drawing-in lever 43 which can draw in the misinsertion protection arm 42 when it is released, and a drawing-in stopper 44 which retreats out of the drawing-in path when the drawing-in operation is completed. After a 1st carrying mechanism which carries the cartridge between the outside and a storage part completes the drawing-in operation, a 2nd carrying mechanism which carries the cartridge from the storage part to a playing position operates without changing the turning direction of a motor and further the 1st carrying mechanism is driven in the ejecting direction by changing the turning direction of the motor to expect a next disk cartridge 100 to be inserted.
