PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system provided with an advertisement displaying function capable of improving an advertising effect by improving clicking frequency. SOLUTION: The information providing system 1 consists of a server 9 and information communication terminal equipment 11 and connected through a network 7. The server 9 consists of an information providing means 21 and an advertising information display means 29. The means 29 consists of an advertising information storage means 23a, a keyword storage means 23b, a keyword identification means 23c, an advertising information deciding means 23e, an advertising information reading means 39, an advertising selection picture displaying means 23g and an information contents discrimination means 23d. When a keyword in the sentence of information is clicked, at least one piece of advertising information corresponding to the clicked keyword from the corresponding relation of a keyword stored in the means 23b and the advertising information is decided and displayed on a display part 15.
