PURPOSE: A direct insertion type cooling method and cooling apparatus is provided to achieve an improved cooling efficiency and prevent waste of compression refrigerant. CONSTITUTION: A cooling method comprises a first step(S1) of inserting a metallic tubule having a circulation line with one or more curved portions, into a container accommodating an object to be cooled; a second step(S2) of sealing the entrance of the container by using a cap for fixing the metallic tubule; and a third step(S3) of cooling the object by injecting a compression refrigerant to the circulation line through an inlet line arranged at a side of the metallic tubule, allowing for heat exchange operation between the object contained in the container and the circulation line, and discharging the refrigerant through an outlet line arranged at the other side of the metallic tubule.
