PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electrode catalyst for a solid polymer fuel cell with excellent resistance against CO poisoning and high catalytic activity. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of electrode catalyst for solid polymer fuel cell comprises dissolving metal salt consisting of combination on cation pattern Pt source and anion pattern Ru source or combination of anion pattern Pt source and cation pattern Ru source in water, and at the same time, adding the metal salt in the dissolved state into an aqueous solution in which carrier powder is dispersed, and a reducing agent consisting of an organic acid is dissolved to prepare an alloy colloidal solution, whereby alloy colloidal particles are carried on the carrier. |
