PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer that is reduced in size, easily wound with wirings, and moreover with improved efficiency and high degree of binding between the wirings. SOLUTION: A core 1 is formed into a shape of a bar and provided with two windings 5, 6. A small-diameter portion 3, having a cross-sectional area smaller than the other portion, is formed in the middle section of the length of the core 1. A groove-shaped portion is formed in the core 1, by forming the small-diameter portion 3 and thus the winding 5 of a smaller width is received in the small-diameter portion 3. A part of the winding 6 is wound over overlapped and outside of the winding 5 received the small-diameter portion 3. |
