PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver for reducing power consumption when demodulating a modulated wave. SOLUTION: This receiver has a 1st and 2nd branch circuits 5 an 8, weighting parts 7a to 7d, adding parts 9a to 9d, envelope detecting parts 10a to 10d, A/D converting parts 11a to 11d, square operating parts 12a to 12d, subtracting parts 13a and 13b and a deciding part 14. In the weighting parts 7a to 7d, four weights in which at least phases are different are respectively attached to local signals distributed by the 2nd branch circuit 5, the local signals with the weights attached thereto and a modulated wave obtained in such a manner that the 1st branch circuit 8 distributes a modulated wave received by an antenna element 2 are added, together, and the deciding part 14 decides a symbol by respectively subtracting two signals with each other corresponding to weights in which amplitudes are the same and only the phases are different after the envelope detection/digital conversion/envelope square value operation of the respective added signals and obtains the IQ component of the modulated wave. With this configuration, power consumption can be reduced in a demodulation mode. |
