REAL-TIME ANTI VIRUS SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A real-time anti virus system is provided to detect a known virus and remove the detected virus before the known virus affects a computer of a user, and to detect the activity of an unknown virus to delete the detected virus. CONSTITUTION: A network interface unit(100) mounts on or connects with a client computer(A10) and transceives packets. A network device driver(200) makes the network interface unit(100) recognized on an operating system and operates the network interface unit(100). A virus information database(300) stores information on affection virus. A designated packet separation module(400) is operated inside the network device driver(200) and separates a designated packet from all packets received through the network interface unit(100). An optional storage module(500) temporarily stores the separated/designated packet to prevent the completion of one file. And a search module(600) searches virus affection for remaining packets excepting the designated packet stored in the optional storage module(500) in comparison with the virus information database(300), to decide affection.
