PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a more compact personal computer by enabling a hard-disk drive to be mounted on a board without leaving a useless empty space on the board. SOLUTION: With the connecting structure provided with a female connector 10 fixed on a board B, and a male connector 20 fitted to a hard-disk drive D mounted on the board B, the female connector 10 is equipped with a groove 12 formed with a female contact 13 inside nearly in a vertical direction to the board B and opening to its own top face 11b and side face 11c, and the male connector is equipped with a male contact 22 to be engaged with the female contact 13 protruding sideways from the hard-disk drive D, which is close to the board B from above, while, in that process, the male contact 22 is inserted into the groove 12 and engaged with the female contact 13, to realize a contact state.
