PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize a rotating motor controller which can perform invariably stable and precise rotation control by effectively and automatically switching many modes such as a control mode for a reproduction disk, a control mode by a wobble signal, and a control mode by an address synchronizing signal. SOLUTION: The controller has a meandering synchronous rotation control circuit which controls the rotation of a rotating motor in synchronism with the snaking of a guide groove of a disk only when an FG lock signal and a tracking servo-ON signal are both outputted, an FG rotation control circuit which controls the motor to a specific rotational frequency according to the FG signal, and a rotation control switching circuit which switches the meandering synchronous rotation control circuit to the FG rotation control circuit when the two signals are not outputted to control the rotation of the rotating motor.
