PURPOSE: A mobile phone for controlling power by subscription and a power control method are provided to automatically turn on a power at a corresponding time without operating a specific key by previously reserving a power-on time when a user turns off the power. CONSTITUTION: A control unit judges whether a user inputs a reservation-on time through a key operation unit(ST-2). If the reservation-on time is inputted, the control unit sets the reservation-on time(ST-3). The control unit judges whether a power-off signal is generated through a power operation unit(ST-4). The control unit receives a standby voltage from a power supply unit and drives a timer(ST-5). The control unit continuously compares reservation-on time data with timing data of the timer and judges whether the setting time is reached(ST-6). If the reservation-on time data are identical to the timing data of the timer, the control unit turns on a terminal power(ST-7).
